A participatory archive challenging identity commodification. Since 2010, over 3,214 participants have surrendered their likenesses to become Hidden Faces—each portrait digitally erased except for their hands’ forensic details. The work evolves as new participants sign NDAs granting/revoking visibility rights in perpetuity.
