The Transaction type: LGBT.
Since 2018, I have been photographing couples and men from Russia who are forced to hide their sexuality from society. Many of them have received political asylum in the United States or European countries. In the project, I raise the topic of the impossibility of being yourself in a society where another sexual identity is perceived as a bio-survival threat, which gives the right to violence and justifies it. To survive, you need to become Hidden Face.
